Vietnam grants visa exemption to citizens of 13 countries, including:
- (1) Federal Republic of Germany;
- (2) French Republic;
- (3) Italian Republic;
- (4) Kingdom of Spain;
- (5) United Kingdom and Northern Ireland;
- (6) Russian Federation;
- (7) Japan;
- (8) Republic of Korea;
- (9) Kingdom of Denmark;
- (10) Kingdom of Sweden;
- (11) Kingdom of Norway;
- (12) Republic of Finland;
- (13) Republic of Belarus.
The duration of stay and temporary residence for the above countries is 15 days from the date of entry.
There is no distinction in passport types or purpose of entry, as long as the conditions stipulated by Vietnamese law are met.
The visa exemption policy for citizens of these 13 countries will be effective from March 15, 2022, until March 14, 2025.
